Coming in shortly after the beautiful new Giro footwear range we now have our first drop of city friendly cycling garments… First up is the unique Insulated Vest, it’s a super thin Primaloft gillet to keep the wind off your chest on the spring mornings/evenings and says “I’m a cool urban adventurer” rather than “I got a puncture on the way here, sorry”. You might not realise you need one but trust us… You NEED one!
Despite using the most visually disturbing background ever for their booth, No.22 Bicycle Company have proved once again that they are the masters of understated beauty. Shown above is the new Reactor frameset; featuring a more aggressive race geometry than the Great Divide and dropping a lot of weight through several design tweaks including the use of a carbon seat tube/mast.
This show bike tips the scales at 5.9lbs, which is well below UCI limits, thanks to the ee cycleworks brakes, Cannondale cranks & the bankruptcy inducing Reynolds RZR wheelset.
UK pricing is yet to be confirmed but expect to find your wallet up to 4k lighter… Oh, and if you’d like to replicate this show build you’d be looking at 5 figures… Time to sell an organ or 2 (it’ll be worth it).
This was the peak of stunt bicycle ‘insanity’ in 1974… And now for something completely better.
Starting with the Rumble – possibly the best casual shoe we’ve seen – at a wallet friendly £70 these ‘trainers’ can be used with and without cleats.
The Republic LX – £150 – is the office shoe of choice, classicly styled and beautifully made these are spd compatible. Perfect for long sunday rides or cruising to your next meeting.
If your ‘cross shoes have come to the end of their life following a muddy winter season the updated £100 Privateer‘s should be on your wish list! As used by many of our ‘cross team these guy have a mid-stiffness sole thats good for those agonising run sections!
More shoes in stock or available to order… Check the full range here
Our first drop of Bombtrack bikes are in store now… The stand out bike for us is the Arise (shown above)… Beautifully finished with hidden mudguard mounts, sweet Fabric saddle, external BB cranks, bombproof wheels and removable cable guides so you can run this puppy with gears if you feel the need. This blows the Genesis Day One out of the water! £600 of pure awesome-ness… I want one!
So, so awesome… Luc Legrand & Erik Elstran hit this sweet curved wall ride on a DIG BMX shoot!
A new British brand we’ve been championing from the start, this latest review of Bowman’s Palace should kill any thoughts you may have that aluminium is a ‘downgrade material’ for a road bike…
Well, what a frame. The Palace sums up to me everything that a proper race bike should be. That raw, uncluttered feeling of some metal tubes and sorted geometry creating a bike that just feels right.
At cruising speed it’s mild mannered and very easy to ride and you can cover a lot of miles with very little distraction. (An) absolutely awesome frame that is a showcase for aluminium; one of the best high-speed handling frames out there
With no weight limit and a sensible price tag this is the bike you need for the 2015 Crit season!
- Frameset (inc headset) £650
- Full Shimano 105 builds from £1450

Thanks to Road.cc for the images etc
With the Palace Bowman has proven that it can still innovate and indeed surprise with an aluminium frame. It’s a frame that you can race with and live with…
Light and stiff yet still comfy enough for century rides, the PF86 BB & external cabling mean maintenance is simple and with ample room for 28c tyres (or 23’s & a set of mudguards*) this is a very versatile UK friendly frameset.
*there’s no mounts but a set of SKS Longblades or PDW Full Metal guards will fit fine!
